In the spring of 2014, I set off from Boston in my 1989 Toyota pickup truck with the idea of driving from here to Mérida. After about a month on the road, I arrived in Mérida. Along the way, I had many an adventure which I chronicled on this blog.
If you’d like to read about my adventures, click the link below. That will bring you to the first post, and then at the bottom of each post, I’ve added a “Jump to the next post from this trip” link so you can read the story from beginning to end.
Though there were some adventures after Guadalajara, I became somewhat exhausted and stopped writing about the trip. One of these days, I’ll write up a few more entries.
Meanwhile, I think it was a pretty interesting trip. I met lots of interesting and wonderful people (including a gay transvestite funeral director) and had many adventures, including a romantic fling.
Enjoy!
